YOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: ADELAIDE – BAROSSA VALLEY

Meet your driver/guide at Adelaide Airport at 3pm. You’ll be transferred to the Barossa Valley for your accommodation at Barossa Shiraz Estate. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barossa Valley from your cottage. Welcome dinner is at Lyndoch Hill which is just across the road from the cottages.

Meals: Dinner at local restaurant (3 course meal with glass of wine and coffee or tea)

Day 2: BAROSSA VALLEY – AM 

Cook your own breakfast at the comfort of your cottage. Your tour today starts with a visit to Penfolds Cellar Door to discover the philosophy behind Australia’s greatest wines. You will enter the Winemakers’ Laboratory, where Penfolds Grange was created, and get to work blending your own special drop using the same wines used to make Penfolds Bin 138. 

Then continue with a visit to Peter Lehmann, built in the 1880’s. In the heart of the cellar door, the stunning red gum bar stands proudly and has been the centrepiece for tasting some of Australia’s most awarded Barossa Valley wines for many years.

Day 2: BAROSSA VALLEY – PM

This afternoon, your wine experience continues with tasting and lunch at the rural vineyard of Pindarie, offering a genuine paddock to plate experience. To complete today’s tour is The Freedom Experience at Langmeil Barossa, an adventure for old vine wine lovers looking for total immersion in the Barossa region. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Musque Food & Wine or similar

Day 3: BAROSSA VALLEY – AM

Start the day by cooking your own breakfast in the comfort of your cottage. Today’s tour starts at the Mengler Hill Lookout, an incredible vantage point to enjoy the Barossa Valley’s panoramic vistas. Then enjoy a unique and fascinating journey of discovery of Yalumba’s Cooperage, the only on-site winery Cooperage in Australia and one of five in the world. 

Next, you’ll have a unique experience at Two Hands Wines with a 90-minute experience taking you behind-the-scenes to understand winemaking philosophy and discovering the magic of the estate vineyard. 

Day 3: BAROSSA VALLEY – PM

Today’s shared lunch experience is at The Farm Eatery on the site of the Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop. To complete your winery experience, we’ll visit the Seppeltsfield Road Distillery to enjoy their Taste Your Birth Year tour which offers the rare opportunity for visitors to try their own birth year vintage Tawny, directly from the barrel. Gin tasting is also included here. Dinner is at Vintners Bar & Grill or Similar.

Day 4: DEPARTURE 

Cook your own breakfast at the comfort of your cottage. The rest of the morning is at leisure until you transfer to Adelaide Airport for your departure flight. Arrival back at Adelaide airport is 11:30am so guests are advised to book a departure flight after 12:30pm.
